The Bookem Window
The Bookem Window is used to create a new job or to edit an existing job.
The employee number, the date and the job number are filled in automatically
when you open the Bookem Window.
Here are some of the main features that are on the Bookem Window.
Address Box
If a customer does jobs at more than one address, the Address Box will
contain them and allow you to choose the one you want. Clicking on an
address will enter that address' menu in the Address Menu (See Address Menu at the bottom of this page).
Booked By
This program can be used on a Network so if there are many people booking
jobs, knowing who booked it is important. Selecting the Booker button
opens a window that allows you to enter new appointment bookers and
set the booker who is using the computer.
Discount
Need to give the customer a discount? Select or enter a percentage and click
Discount. The job is automatically updated with new totals.
Call Back
This feature allows you to save a note in the customer's record so you can call them
back later to see if they need servicing.
There is another feature in the Reports Window that shows you all the customers to call back for any given month.
Contract
Some customers want you to return every year and do the same job over again. The Contract Window allows you to book repeated jobs
weekly, monthly or yearly. A contract job can be booked many times, to a certain date or endlessly.
Address Menu
The
Address Menu is specific for each customer's address so you can create the job easily.
A customer can have several addresses that you work on. Each address can have its own menu to pick from when you are creating the job -
usually while you are talking to the customer on the phone.
